As a busy, six member family, working for the NHS, last year we started to feel the impact of the increasing cost of living. Like so many people, we started to look for ways to reduce our household outgoings. We were so excited to discover preloved fashion. We thought it was a fantastic way to save money, dress stylishly and do our bit for the environment too! Over time however, we struggled to find high quality men's and children's clothing. So, after a bolt of inspiration we combined our new found love for preloved clothing with our vision to help other people and try to pass on a better world to our children. And Dress to Empress was born!
We source high quality, preloved clothing for all ages, and offer it to you at affordable prices. We sell branded and high street clothing, Some of which even have their original tags! We do not generally stock more than one of any item, so be quick or you may miss out on a bargain!
How to buy from us?
We sell items on our online preloved clothing shop through this website, posting to mainland UK. We host live sales on our social media platforms, selling exclusive preloved fashion items that are not featured on our shop! We also attend events throughout Hertfordshire, holding a pop up shop for you to see our items and buy them face to face. We operate strictly on a cashless basis so make sure you bring a form of card or contactless payment with you, when you visit us at a physical location.
How much does our clothing and postage cost?
We are committed to keeping prices low to bring you the best savings for your preloved clothing items and to enable the biggest "bang for your buck". Most of our items are under £10, and for the super thrifty, we have a 'bargain bucket' of items that are 2 for £1 when we host our pop up shops. We use Yodel as our postage service, and they offer convenient 'Store to Store' or 'Store to Door' depending on your budget.
